Girl on a cruise ship with a tray of drinks – 1964

A Kodak Instamatic colour slide of a girl carrying a tray of drinks up some stairs on a Cruise ship somewhere near Greece or the Greek Islands. The photo was taken in 1964, which is only just after Kodak introduced the Instamatic format of film, so the photographer has obviously recently bought a new camera.

I have several slides from the same source and the photographer had taken images in 127 format, 35mm format and also 126 Instamatic format.

I was interested to see what appears to be a heater mounted on the line of windows at the top of the picture – presumably it gets cool in the evenings and this was to keep passengers warm – or is it possibly a light?
