Family picnic in vintage Renault car

A photo taken by the side of the road as a family breaks their journey and stops for a picnic in their Renault car. I don’t know the actual model of car, but I can see the maker’s name, ‘Renault’ on the side of the wing.

The family seems to be going on holiday because there is a suitcase on a rack on the back of the car (presumably the boot is also loaded). There are two people in the car and the driver is presumably behind the camera. There is a nice, 1950s picnic set on the grass verge by the open front door, and that, along with the car and the dresses the women in the car are wearing, places this picture in the mid 1950s.
