Two men with a camera

The first thing that struck me about this picture of two men at a party looking at the camera one of them is holding is how much this looks like a modern day equivalent when a photographer is showing one of the shots he's just taken to a fellow photographer. Except of course, this is a film camera so they must just be discussing the camera or settings rather than an actual photo.
