An unknown coastal town from a hill above it – c 1955

A rather faded colour slide of a coastal town somewhere, presumably in the UK, which I believe was taken in the mid 1950s. Because of the loss of colour pigmentation, the grass on the hills in the foreground have a distinct brown look rather than the correct green.
