A picture of two women standing in a garden together surrounded by palm trees and with a house or flat behind them. The older woman has her arm around the shoulders of the younger woman.
I believe this is in the garden of one of the service houses in RAF Seletar in Singapore and was taken in the mid 1960s by a serving RAF officer.

This photo shows an Amah (on the left) who must be working on behalf of the lady (on the right) who is the wife of an RAF officer or Airman. They are probably standing in the front garden. All married RAF personnel were given an allowance to pay for an Amah to do general washing and cleaning duties. The accommodation behind is a semi-detached bungalow and is over the road.
