Classical building

This is a picture of an imposing building with columns and wide steps with people walking in front of it. There is no information on the slide mount to indicate where it is or when it was taken, but the people walking in front of it are wearing bowler hats and have clothes that look quite 1950ish. I would guess that this is in London and taken in the mid 1950s.
