Lion Street, Rye

I believe this is a picture of Rye in Sussex in about August 1973 from Lion Street. When I searched for the teahouse called Fletcher’s House on google I found the town of Rye, and a very similar view down the street. Anyone who lives in Rye or knows it well may be able to confirm this location?
