Edinburgh Castle from Princes street – July 1967

This is a photo of Edinburgh Castle, sitting on Castle Rock, with the photo taken from Princes Street. The angle of the photo suggests the photographer is near the eastern end of Princes Street, probably close to The Mound / North Bridge junction, looking west towards the Castle.
The cars in the photo are classic British saloons of the era i.e. Ford Consul/Zephyr-type shapes and possibly an Austin or Morris, with rounded bodies and chrome trim. The busย in the background looks like a pre-1960s single-decker.
