Vickers Viscount in British Airways livery

A snapshot of a Vickers Viscount airplane on the apron of an airport somewhere in the UK, and probably taken in the 1970s.
The โBritish airwaysโ title in the lowercase style with the red tail flash, dates from the early years after British Airways was formed in 1974 from the merger of BOAC and BEA.
The Viscount was originally a BEA (British European Airways) workhorse through the 1950s and 60s. By the mid-1970s, they were being phased out rapidly so this photo was probably toward the end of the Viscountโs frontline life.
