This is a photo of a British Caledonian Boeing 727 jet taken at a UK airport sometime in the mid 1970s.

British Caledonian operated the 727 extensively during the 1970s and early 1980s, mainly on European, Middle Eastern and charter route and was at the time the UK’s most serious independent rival to BOAC/BA.
