This is a photo of the aircraft Concorde which was probably taken at an airshow or open day sometime in the late 1970s. Some noticeable features of the photo are:

  • The British Airways “speedmarque” tail and the simple “British” fuselage titling suggest the date to be the mid-to-late 1970s.

  • The nose is down, indicating taxiing or lining up rather than landing or take-off.

  • Main landing gear is fully extended and weight-on-wheels, so it’s clearly ground movement.
