This Kodachrome slide shows a woman standing next to a car  – possibly a taxi or service vehicle, in what appears to be a North American city. The licence plate of the car has the last part of the word, ‘Ontario’ on it, and the date, 1959 agrees with the development date on the slide which is stamped Jun 1959. The woman is wearing typical fashions of the day, the big black coat and the tan handbag, and her hairstyle is also completely ‘on trend’ for the late 1950s.
