Woman posing in front of her car – October 1963

A Photo of a woman standing in front of her car, which has a registration plate of HGL (which I can see from another photo) and ends in 52. The HGL tells us that the car was registered in London, but I can’t pin down the actual model – possibly someone more familiar with vintage cars can help?

There was a shop called Wilkes (which we can see in the background) in Sheffield at the time, which was a hardware and ironmongers, so it’s possible this photo was taken in Sheffield.
