Aberdeen Docks August 1969

This photo appears to be taken across the harbour at Aberdeen in northeast Scotland. There are several skyline landmarks which identify the scene as Aberdeen:
The twin spires in the middle distance match St Nicholas Kirk, a prominent church in the city centre.
The tall modern rectangular tower behind the older granite buildings is St Nicholas House, a 1960s office block that stood in the city centre for decades before being demolished in 2014.
The foreground water and fishing vessels strongly resemble Aberdeen Harbour, historically one of Britainโs major fishing ports on the North Sea.
The photographer appears to have been standing on a pier or quay on the south side of the harbour, looking toward the city.
