This is a fairly ordinary photo of a Christmas tree and I almost didn’t give it a second glance until I realised that it appears to be a real Christmas tree with lit candles attached. I realised this used to happen, but the fire risk seems absolutely incredible when viewed from today’s world of safe led lights.
I wonder how many house fires were caused by having lit candles on dry Christmas trees?
