Car and passenger ferry MV Hebrides c1970

This photo shows the ferry Hebrides at the dock, probably on the Isle of Skye where she worked as a ferry to the mainland of Scotland. Although the date is unknown, it’s probably sometime around 1970.

The smoke from the funnel and the number of people on the deck suggests the ship is either about to leave, or has just arrived at her destination.
