Woman with a Beetle car

This is a Kodachrome snapshot of a woman standing next to a VW Beetle car that was taken in Octobver 1976. The Beetle’s plate appears to read CHI-2611 which is consistent with older Greek plates that used regional abbreviations, and “CHI” likely refers to the island of Chios in Greece.

Therefore I think there’s a good chance this photo was taken somewhere on Chios or nearby in the Greek islands.
