This is a snapshot taken in a living room in the mid 1960s which I find interesting to look back and remind myself of the styles and decorative elements of a room were like then. The patterned chairs and carpets look particularly garish now, but were very popular in the 1960s and 1970s. The small wavy-edged decorative mirror hanging by a string was a fashionable inexpensive décor item in the late 60s and 70s.
