House Interior mid 1960s

A portrait of a man sitting in the living room of his house as the sun streams in from the window to his side. He has a pen in hand and there is a recipe book on the table so possibly he is planning a meal.

The house is decorated in a typical fashion for mid 1960s with patterned wallpaper and a patterned rug on the solid wood floor. Through the open doorway behind him we can see a bedroom, so possibly the building he is sitting in is a bungalow.
