A view of Monaco mid 1960s

This is a mid 1960s snapshot of Monaco, specifically the harbour area (Port Hercule), with Le Rocher rising behind it. The large fortified complex on the hill is the Prince’s Palace of Monaco, with its medieval defensive walls.

The cars shown in the photo include a Peugeot 404, which was introduced 1960  along with a Peugeot 403, a Simca Aronde and possibly a Renault Frégate all of which suggest the 1960s date estimate.
