St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle – late 1950s

This is a photo of St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle that was taken sometime in the late 1950s or possibly early 1960s. The image shows the west end or side of the chapel with visitors entering – the site was a popular public attraction at that time, as it still is today of course.

The car registration 66 LPF, appears to be a Triumph Herald saloon and it is one of the elements of the photo that helps date it to the late 1950s or early 1960s.
