The plane they are heading for is a Lufthansa 737-200 which first came into operation in 1967, and the second plane, off to the right, is a Modern Air Transport Convair 990.
The location is likely to be one of the Spanish islands that were (and still are) a hugely popular holiday destination, probably Ibiza.
