A group of skiers on a mountain range, probably in the Alps, and certainly a group of people who are skying for pleasure rather than professional skiers on a practice run. At the time this photo was taken in March 1962, the popular resorts were Cortina d’Ampezzo, Gstaad, and Verbier so that is possibly the location of this photo.
