RH&DR Railways Sampson

This is a rather poorly exposed Kodachrome slide of the Steam Engine Sampson on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway that was taken in September 1964.

According to this page, the engine was made and delivered in 1927 and has had modifications/upgrades over her history and has been painted a number of different colours. In this photo she seems to be painted black, although the poor exposure make it difficult to be certain.
