Portrait on the Deck of the Queen Mary

This portrait was taken on the deck of the Queen Mary while she is moored in Long Beach, California as a floating hotel.

The last photo I published showed the entrance to the Queen Mary, and I found this 126 Instamatic Kodachrome in the same batch of slides. The fact that the slide is in the same batch makes it very likely that the ship featured in this photo is the Queen Mary, I used Google street view to compare the background with the current view. There are enough similarities for me to be pretty sure of the location.

The lady in the photo is the same one who was at a fondue party in a previously published photo, and also in a camping holiday snap, so this is a little bit more of her life that we've pieced together.
