A picture of St Mary the Virgin Church in Steeple Ashton, Wiltshire.
Although I don't know when this photo was taken (and churches remain looking essentially the same for hundreds of years), the top of the car which can be seen at the bottom of the photo suggests is was probably taken in the 1970s.
The tower was originally built with a steeple but it was struck by lightning in 1670 and was never rebuilt - but apparently that event is what led to the village where the church is built getting its name, Steeple Ashton.
Note: This photo was originally published on Everything Vintage as simply, 'Large Church' and has subsequently been identified.
